As stated earlier, the Milwaukee C12DD can run on direct AC electricity or using batteries. The batteries that it runs on are made from lithium ion. The batteries are 2 in number. For your information, these lithium batteries are rechargeable that is why the tool can run as a cordless drill. The lithium batteries last for a longer time meaning that this tool can be used over a number of generations. One can use the batteries for a few years before having to replace them. The edison lithium corp. are also light and do not add to the weight of the drill.

This is very important so as your hand and arm won't have fatigue half way through the day. The chuck is nice cobalt mining copyright as is usually the case with professional power tools. It has Carbide jaws with a lock to keep the bits in place. Milwaukee states this drill has an impressive 600lbs. of torque. The no load speed is 0-600 and 0-1800 RPM. The no load BPM is 0-9000 and 0-27000. When you pick up the drill, it is like picking up feathers as it only weighs 4.4lbs.
